Smash Car Clicker is a simple idle clicker that combines basic gameplay with a novel concept. You are presented with intentionally pixelated graphics when first starting. The graphics are interesting and consistent. They do match the quirky nature of the game. A soundtrack drones on in the background that is reminiscent of something from an early console game. Unfortunately, the music does get annoying after some time. There are no sound effects even when you jump up and down on the car. The music can be turned off any time.

The concept of Smash Car Clicker is unique and sometimes confusing. The basic premise is that you need to destroy cars by jumping up and down on top of them. You get money every time you jump on the car. Clicking on the screen causes your character to jump. You need to click enough to earn money in order to call in a friend. The friend will jump on the car automatically. You can have up to two friends jumping on each car.

Your friends have two stats to upgrade. You can upgrade the speed causing them to jump faster and earn more money. You can also upgrade the jump power. This makes each jump worth more money. You can upgrade friends 10 times in each stat. If you have a fully upgraded friend, then you can call another friend in to replace that one. Upgrades for the new friend cost 10 times as much as normal although the new friend innately earns more for each jump.

Smash Car Clicker is divided into different worlds. You get one car per world. The worlds have fun themes like ZombieLand, AlienLand and RoboLand. You character and friends change in appearance depending on the world theme. You unlock new worlds by buying them. The good thing about these worlds is that you earn money from each one constantly even if you are not actively viewing it.

All the jumping does eventually cause damage to the car. You will stop earning a good amount of money once the car is destroyed. You have to save up and buy a new car when this happens to start the cycle over again. A drawback of Smash Car Clicker is that the game options are limited. There is not much to do once everyone is upgraded. Smash Car Clicker is still a fun idle game with a novel concept that can hold your attention for some time as you unlock new worlds.
